MicroAntivirus is presenting itself as a one-stop solution to solve all of your computer problems, from viruses to spyware to including a Firewall to blocking pop-ups. We cant really verify the other functions, but we can tell you that MicroAntiVirus clears out viruses and spyware with no problems. It installs without any problems, and once updated, immediately scans the computer for any possible virus infections. (We were particularly impressed that the updates are available immediately - looks like the software is updated fairly regularly!) The program is easy to use and works fairly well, so it gets a thumbs up from us!
Virus Nuke is designed for simplicity. It's been simplified so much that you can scan your whole computer with just a few mouse-clicks. The email support is great - we got a response in just a few hours, and from real tech support. Suffice it to say, we were seriously impressed. It cleared out the computer, finding no less than a dozen infiltrations, hijacks, and worse. Clearly a quality product!
The navigation of the website aside, MyVirusGuardian is actually pretty good at what it does. We were a bit surprised, since the interface is fairly raw - novice computer owners may feel a bit intimidated by the look of the program. Not to say that it's difficult to understand, because a lot of care has clearly been taken to make the process as quick and easy as possible. In other words, MyVirusGuardian is a decent product if youre not too picky about what it looks like.
